General Admissions Requirements

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and must have a high school diploma, G.E.D., or pass an ability-to-benefit test such as the Wonderlic Basic Skills Tests or CPAT Test. Applicants taking the Wonderlic Tests must receive a minimum score of 200 on the verbal test and 210 on the quantitative test, while those taking the CPAT Test must receive a minimum score of 118. Students under the age of 18 must receive written permission from parent or legal guardian to enroll.

Additional Requirements for Pharmacy Students

Students enrolling in the Pharmacy Technician program must have a high school diploma or GED and may not have any felony convictions. They must also register with the Board as Pharmacy Technician trainees. Within two years, they must register as Pharmacy Technicians. Pharmacy students must undergo a criminal background check (including fingerprinting), and they must take and pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s National Certification Examination to register as a Pharmacy Technician. *

*The National Certification Examination fee is $129, the fee to register as a Pharmacy Technician is $54,  and the fee to register as a Pharmacy Technician trainee is $53.
