Welcome to the beauty industry’s version of “Basic Training!” The Cosmetology Operator Program at Southwest Schools gives a little of everything, providing you with a strong foundation of skills and knowledge that can lead to future specializations. Learn all phases of basic cosmetology, including manicures, pedicures, facials, shampoo, cut and color, perms and other techniques. These are the essential skills that will get you hired at a salon or other beauty facility -- the basis for a new and successful career.

You’ll gain more than raw know-how through the training you receive at SWS. Once you've completed our Cosmetology Operator Program, you’ll feel prepared to take the state board examination and receive your license as a fully-fledged cosmetologist. From there, you’re on your way to a bright new future!
