Financial Aid sounds intimidating, but the process is easy and can truly benefit all students! Financial aid helps students meet their college expenses. No matter what your financial situation is, it is free to apply at www.fasfa.ed.gov and we can assist in the process!
What are Grants and Scholarships?
Grants and scholarships are considered “gift aid.” Financial Aid includes gift aid as well as loans that you can qualify for. Gift aid does not have to be repaid and is essentially free money. They are considered need-based or merit-based and Southwest Schools accepts them both. This money can come from the federal government, the state government, or your career school. Southwest Schools currently offers an On-Time Graduation Tuition Reward as well as scholarships available for a limited time.
When Should I Apply?
We encourage you to speak with our admissions office if you are interested in applying for financial student aid. Our caring staff can assist you in applying and answer any questions you may have regarding eligibility, status, loan payback information or the application process. It takes approximately 10 business days from the date that you submit the FAFSA, for the school to receive it. When Southwest Schools receives your FAFSA we will let you know your eligibility information.
